It is that time of year when my book club pitches the selections for our upcoming year’s books. And, as usual, the number of great books up for selection far outnumber the months in a year. Below are the thirty books from which we’ll select ten.
As I mentioned last year on our short list, the majority were books I had already read. I’m happy to say that this year, I’ve only read a handful of these, so I’m looking forward to a year when most of our selections are new to me.
