  1. I enjoy your book reviews and often will add to my TBR list based on your enthusiasm. I currently have “A Gentleman in Moscow” by Amor Towles on my list. In the list of books above that your book club is considering, I loved “Chasing Fireflies” by Charles Martin. I was introduced to his books many years ago in a book club when we read “Wrapped In Rain”. More recently I read “Long Way Gone” which is probably one of my favorite books of all time. Charles Martin is a wonderful author. His books never fail to consume me. ‘Chasing Fireflies” is a book I’ve just finished for the 2nd time and it will be worth your time. There is so much richness in his writing that leaves me pondering long after I have finished the book. Thanks so much for sharing your list of considerations!

    1. I’m so glad you enjoy the posts! Let me know what you think about Towles – I really think he is one of the more brilliant and talented writers currently writing. I just became familiar with Charles Martin. I heard him on Annie Down’s “That Sound Fun” podcast and then another in our group recommended this one. I haven’t read anything by him, but plan to remedy that soon! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on Fireflies – because I wasn’t sure where to start! Thanks for taking the time to comment! It means a lot. Hope you & W are well!
