Book Giveaway :: The Orchard

I was so excited yesterday when Jeffrey Stepakoff messaged me and offered to send several signed galleys of The Orchard – his latest novel due out July 5. I’ve slowed down on the ARCs that I request or accept, but after all the fun I had celebrating Fireworks over Toccoa, I have been anxious for this follow-up novel. It was recently named a Southern Indie Bookseller’s Summer Okra Pick!

I just received my copy of The Orchard, so I haven’t written the review, but I wanted to go ahead and announce the giveaway. However, here’s a bit about what you’re in for with Stepakoff’s The Orchard from the back cover:

Grace Lyndon is a rising star in the world of perfumes and flavors; a stiletto-wearing work-a-holic, she develops aromas and tastes to enthrall the senses. Dylan Jackson is a widowed single father whose heart and hands have been calloused in the fields of his North Georgia apple farm. When Grace tastes an apple picked from Dylan’s trees, she must develop the essence of the spellbinding fruit.

Determined to track down the apple’s origin, Grace sets off in the middle of the night where she finds a beautiful mountain orchard in the clouds and the mysterious man who owns it. When their undeniable attraction is threatened, The Orchard concludes in a momentous finale that proves, again, Jeffrey Stepakoff is a master craftsman of the heart.

And, here’s an early rave review by Feathered Quill.

Rules for the giveaway:

1. Must be mailed to address in US.

2. To enter, leave a comment.

3. To increase you chances to win, share, tweet, digg, etc. the giveaway. (Leave a separate comment about each share.)

4. Winners will be drawn on July 5!

Jeffrey promised multiple books, so there will be several winners! Good Luck!!

  1. I await with bated breath a signed copy of “The Orchard” by Jeffrey Stepakoff. I became addicted to his writing when “Fireworks Over Toccoa” exploded his genius over the entire literary world.

  2. I love it when books are written about our area! I have four – count ’em – four copies of Fireworks Over Toccoa. I ran into Jeffrey at Barnes and Noble in Buford before Christmas, and he seems to remember all of us who were early fans of his first novel, and I am so happy for its success. I wish him the same success with The Orchard.

  3. I can’t wait to read this. At Christmas several members of my family from different parts of Georgia and Tennessee were reading his first book at the same time and no one knew it until we saw each other with the book. We all enjoyed the book tremendously.

    1. Lynne – You’re one of the winners! I emailed you, but haven’t gotten a response. Please email me at readbabbette (at) yahoo (dot) com by Sunday, July 10 to claim the book if you’re still interested. Thanks, Elisabeth

  4. I love perfume, so a book that has anything to do with one of my most favourite things sounds good. The storyline sounds good as well.

  5. I’ve been pining for this book since I first read about it on Goodreads, and entered to win the book in the First Reads contest. Unfortunately, I was not lucky enough then, but I am really hoping that this time my luck will change! 😀

    Thank you to author Jeffrey Stepakoff for offering these signed galleys, and a BIG thank you to LIT&LEISURE for sharing them with us! 😀

    Thank you…
