Two Reviews :: Bloodroot and Saints at the River

Bloodroot is Amy Greene’s first novel and the first four pages of the paperback version of this national bestseller is packed with praise from the likes of Wally Lamb (you all know he’s a personal favorite) to the New York Times. All I can say is, someone was pulling in some favors.

Recipe :: Roasted Butternut Squash

This past week I had to confess to my husband: I’m having a love affair…with butternut squash. I fell in love with the slightly sweet and earthy flavor several years ago when the soup became a popular item on trendy, fusion menus. Two Book Reviews :: Incendiary and The Almost Moon
